Beware of Walmart’s Cypress Mulch! Did you know that Walmart employs loggers to cut down the Cypress trees in the swamps of Louisiana and then places a florida address on the package, saying it is enviromentally friendly? I know for me that I had bought some from there and Lowes not knowing where it came from. Last year though I used the mulch from the city that my neighbor dumped from his truck on my garden plots. He got a truckload for only $7 and its all from the trees the city cuts down and uses themselves here in Fort Wayne. So, thats what I will be using.
